At Prestige Rug, we strive to provide the highest quality rugs and customer service. We understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations, and we are committed to making the return and exchange process as smooth as possible. Please review the terms below for returns, refunds, and exchanges.
1. Returns
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery, subject to the following conditions:
- The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, which will vary depending on the location and country.
- The product must be returned in its original condition, without any damage, including the original packaging, labels, and tags.
- The product must be securely packaged to avoid any damage during transit. We recommend using the original packaging or similarly protective packaging materials.
Non-Returnable Items:
- Custom-made rugs are non-returnable unless there is a manufacturing defect.
- Products that are damaged, used, or not in their original condition will not be accepted for returns.
2. Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect the returned product, a refund will be processed within 5-7 business days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method. Please note that the original shipping fees will not be refunded.
3. Manufacturing Defects & Exclusions
If you receive a product with a manufacturing defect, you must notify us within 48 hours of receiving the product. To report a defect, please email us at info@houseofpersiancarpet.com with clear photos and a detailed description of the issue.
Exclusions from Manufacturing Defect Claims:
- Sprouting pulls or single tuft loss.
- Shedding, which can be minimized with regular vacuuming.
- Color and texture variations due to natural fibers, dyes, or exposure to light and elements.
- Rolling marks, which will disappear with regular vacuuming and use.
- Matting and crushing due to improper maintenance.
- Odors from newly unpacked rugs, which will dissipate after proper airing.
Please note: Manufacturing defects do not include natural characteristics such as slight variations in color, texture, or minor shedding.
4. Shipping & Return Conditions
- The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.
- Ensure the product is packaged securely to prevent damage during transit. We are not liable for any damage that occurs during the return shipment.
- If a returned product is damaged in transit, we may deduct the cost of repairs or replacement from the refund amount.
5. Exchanges
We accept exchanges within 30 days of delivery, subject to the following conditions:
- The product must be in original condition, including packaging, labels, and tags.
- Discounts or offers applied to the original purchase may not apply to the exchange.
- Exchanges for custom-made rugs are only accepted in cases of manufacturing defects.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs when sending the original product back to our warehouse. However, Prestige Rugs will cover the shipping costs for sending the exchanged product to the customer.
Exchange Process:
Request an Exchange: Email us at info@houseofpersiancarpet.com within 30 days of receiving your product, stating the reason for the exchange.
- Customer Support: Our team will respond within 1-2 business days to assist you in selecting a new product.
- Return Shipment: Send the original product to our warehouse, or contact us for assistance with the shipping process.
- Quality Check: Once we receive and inspect the product, any balance due will be processed (if applicable), and the new product will be shipped to you.
6. Shipping Costs for Exchanges
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs when sending the product back for exchange.
- Prestige Rugs will cover the shipping costs for sending the new product back to the customer.
7. Non-Refundable Items
- Custom-made rugs cannot be returned or exchanged unless there is a verified manufacturing defect.
- Items that show signs of use or damage after delivery are not eligible for returns or refunds.
8. Damaged or Incorrect Products
If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving the product by emailing info@houseofpersiancarpet.com with photos and details of the issue. We will arrange for a return or replacement at no additional cost to you.
9. International Returns
Customers outside of the United States are responsible for all international return shipping fees, including any customs or duties incurred in the process of the return. Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment once the returned product is received and inspected.
10. Restocking Fee
For returns, we may charge a restocking fee of 10% of the original product price if the product is not returned in original condition or if there is a significant delay in returning the product beyond the 30-day return period.
11. Cancellations
Orders may be canceled before the product is shipped. If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible at info@houseofpersiancarpet.com. If the product has already been shipped, you will need to follow the return process outlined above.
